Start at Holmenkollen

Holmenkollen is a neighborhood in the Vestre Aker borough of Oslo. More than  a residential area, it has been a famous ski recreation place since the late 19th century, thanks to the eponymous, ski jumping hill, the Holmenkollbakken, hosting competitions since 1892. The ski jump was constructed from branches and covered in snow. The longest jump was recorded at 21.5 metres and the first hill record was set by Arne Ustvedt. The current record is 139 metres and was set by Andreas Kofler from Austria. Holmenkollen Day, which is held annually in March, gathers thousands of spectators in a cheering atmosphere.

The runners of both the 45 km will fully exhale the excitement and the steep jump itself passing directly beneath the jump.        

Bogstad Golf Court

Runner will discover Bogstad Golf Court the home of Oslo Golf Club. Established 1924, it is the oldest golf club in Norway. The first golf shots were hit one autumn day in 1924. Except for the 2nd World War period, when people grew potatoes and other vegetables on the course, the club have been playing golf there ever since. Over the years the club has invested in several course upgrading. The original area for golf has been changed and is today one of the most compact golf courses in Norway.

Fossum

Fossum is  a very scenic part of Oslo where the city reach the countryside near to Bogstad Golfcourse Trailerrs will follow the Lysaker River in Baerum community all the way down to Lysaker and the Oslofjord.

Jar and saw mill was located near Lysaker River, saw approximately 200 meters south of the Jar waterfall and mill about 50 meters to the north. Today you can only see remnants of stone foundations of buildings. Until the late 1800s, however, it was busy area.

Finish at Salt

Participants will then run into the heart of the city along the sail boat harbours in Frognerkilen and Bygdøy Sjøbad.

The last run is around the Fortress and castle Akershus towards the Oslo Havnelager and the finish line at Salt, Tollbukaia.
